ECOSYSTEM: Campus in Camps
CONTRIBUTION: coordination, radical pedagogy, diagrams, visual thinking
FUNDED BY: GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbei)
After designing Campus in Camps‘s spaces and visual identity I was employed as the programme coordinator. This provided the opportunity to strengthen /enhance the bond between us – participants, directors, activators and staff – as an ensemble of sharing, debating, planning, walking and doing together. In brief, we developed an environment that sought collaboration as a way to advocate for reciprocal responsibilities, rather than assuming roles and definitions in their strict meaning. By doing so we challenged the attitude of solely relying on leadership to prescribe the way or take decisions. Campus in Camps started a forum for exchanging ideas on ways-of-doing, a sort of methodology that reinvented itself daily. It drew on talents, skills, and knowledge that was both academic and street-smart by using existing imaginative capabilites.
