ECOSYSTEM: Campus in Camps

Since 2012 Campus in Camps started as an experimental educational programme involving young refugees from South Palestine, aiming to elaborate with the participants a narrative/representation of what refugee camps and its inhabitants are today. Both theoretical and practical moments are based “on the relevance of the subject in relation to the interest of the group. For this reason, the structure of the programme is constantly reshaped to accommodate the interests and subjects born from the interactions between the participants and the social context at large”. In the programme the camp, the university, the city, the land, the political are some of the domains, which constitute, not opposites, but a heterotopy – a third space.
